During my university studies and research activity in the field of molecular biophysics I learned the following cutting-edge techniques in scientific research: molecular electrophysiology technique at single molecule level and the use of protein pores (α-hemolysin) as molecular detection sensors with which I studied biologically relevant molecules such as DNA / PNA molecules (peptido-nucleic acids) and peptides, confocal fluorescence microscopy technique with which I studied the interaction between model lipid membranes and antimicrobial peptides and antitumor homing peptides, techniques for making planar biomimetic lipid membranes (Montal-Mueller technique) or spherical membranes (liposome electroformation technique) and the isothermal titration microcalorimetry (ITC) technique used to determine the thermodynamic parameters of the interaction between molecules of interest.
